Action Against Hunger (AAC) is providing health and nutrition services to children under 5 years and pregnant and lactating women in Ferozkoh District of Ghor province.
About the Service
AAH screens pregnant, and lactating women. It identifies malnutrition cases of children under 5 years and providing them Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) treatment program. Moreover it provides sexual reproductive services, including antenatal care (ANC), postnatal care (PNC) and Family Planning (FP) services to pregnant and lactating women.
The organsation also delivers health and nutrition community awareness and education services.

The organisation is providing this service in Dari, Pashto and sign language. There are female staff who could discuss and assist female beneficiaries. For appointment coordinate wtih the focal points to receive any of the services Action Against Hunger provides. However, there is an eligibility criterion for some of the services it provides - the criteria differ based on the service.
Action Against Hunger's location is not accessible to all and it does not have an elevator. It does, however, have separate and accessible restroom facilities for both women and men. All services are provided free of charge.
